ACL (Anterior Cruciate ligament) is the key stabilzing ligament of the Knee joint. It gets injured mostly during sporting activities. The injury leads to instability of the Knee joint with chances of frequent fall and further injuries. Treatment will be decided on the clinical assessment of the stabiity. Best treatment is a surgery called the ARTHROSCOPIC ACL reconstruction using some of the spare tendons available around the knee.
